Where It All Started
Two Brothers, One Dream
Twin Grill started the way the best things do — around a kitchen table. Brothers Marcus and Darnell Williams grew up in South Dallas watching their grandmother cook. She never measured anything. She just knew. Every Sunday, the whole neighborhood would find their way to her door, drawn by the smell of cornbread in the oven and collard greens on the stove.
When she passed in 2008, Marcus and Darnell made a promise: they'd keep her recipes alive and share them with the city that raised them. Two years later, Twin Grill opened its doors on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd — and Dallas hasn't been the same since.

Marcus Williams
Co-Founder & Head Chef
Marcus spent three years training in New Orleans before returning to Dallas with a mission. He runs the kitchen with the same quiet intensity his grandmother had — and the same gift for making people feel at home.
Darnell Williams
Co-Founder & General Manager
Darnell is the reason Twin Grill feels the way it does. He greets every guest by name, remembers your usual order, and makes sure every visit feels like coming home.
